Meet the experienced and friendly staff who help make Nappanee Family Eyecare the leading provider of vision care products and services in Nappanee.

Lauren had an intense fight against a very aggressive cancer. She fought it with everything she had, but passed from us to a more glorious place on February 8, 2018. She was a star here at Nappanee Family Eyecare and we will miss her dearly. Dr. Minnich recruited her to join our staff after we had experienced  her exceptional customer service and her pleasant personality. She quickly learned to do her job with excellence, demonstrated an outstanding work ethic, and always had a smile on her face for our patients. We loved her laugh! She truly was a wonderful person! Please join us in praying for her family as they grieve her loss.

Dori has worked in an optometric practice for over 25 years and she has been with Nappanee Family Eyecare since 2000. She leads by example and has developed into an exceptional leader. She has mastered all areas of our office and still serves our patients with excellence. She received her certification by the American Board of Opticians in 2007. Although much of her time is spent coordinating efforts between the other staff directors & training other staff, she can still fill in for any staff position for every day operations. She also handles many of our IT challenges. Dori has served as President and Treasurer of the Northern Indiana Spina Bifida Association. She has also participated in the Nappanee Leadership Academy. Her and her husband, Abbot, have been married for 23 years and they have two children, Brittney and Treyton. She has seen many technological advances in eyecare and has been a part of business growth in every stage. After announcing her retirement, Dr. Minnich convinced her to only semi-retire because of her excellent service to our patients through the years.
