The CIRRUS Photo combines a full retinal camera with a non-invasive retinal imaging test, Optical Coherent Tomography (OCT). OCT is a non-invasive diagnostic technique that renders an in vivo cross sectional view or map of the retina that is accurate to within at least 10-15 microns. It provides substantial information of the retina (diabetic diseases), macula (ARMD), and the nerve fiber layer surrounding the optic nerve (glaucoma).
